DECORATIVE HISTORIC TEXTILES, FROM THE RENAISSANCE COLLECTION

The Renaissance Collection is a timeless range of historic textiles, inspired by the diverse archives of the national museums and the privately owned collections of Europe and the Middle East.

The fabrics are woven in Britain and France, using the natural fibres of flax, cotton, silk or wool. They include both the jacquard designs and traditional woollen cloths such as twills, satins, camlets and damasks. Where practical, the weave construction of these historic textiles replicates the originals.

Renaissance Textiles fabrics are equally suited to interiors ancient and modern, buildings grand and modest, private homes and public buildings. Their intricate designs pay tribute to the expertise of the designers and weavers of their times.

To complement the Collection, we offer natural unbleached or coloured linens, silks and velvets for furnishing purposes and theatrical costume.
